New England and Canada 10/16/2016 - 10/23/2016

                                Boston

Arrived in Boston just before noon today.  Weather cool in the 50's but sunny.  We are staying in a apartment at 20 Moon Street on the forth floor, no elevator.  (Rented thru Zoe Rentals of Boston, just OK, not recommended)

Visited the Paul Revere House,  https://www.paulreverehouse.org

ate lunch at Panza that was recommended by a local Bostonian.

It was delicious!

We walked down to the Harbor and went to the New England Aquarium.

Feeding Time!!!!

After dark we went on Old Town Trolley's Ghosts & Gravestones

Our Zombie Guide

"At Copp’s Hill Burying Ground and Granary Burying Ground you’ll depart from the trolley and explore Boston’s two oldest burying grounds on foot. But be warned, you never know what kind of ghoulish creatures you’ll encounter as you explore the grave sites of John Hancock, Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and others!"
Also converging on Boston in preparation of our New England Canadian Cruise, is cousin Bill and his wife Sue.

the Old North Church is still standing, if you don't remember your history class, its the church where the lanterns were hung to tell if the British were coming by land or sea.

St. John, New Brunswick, Canada

Today we took a ship excursion called 'Top Ten St John Bay of Fundy'.   Some of the 10 sites were just drive buys but the tour was fun anyway.  Pictures from what we saw.

First we were taken twice to the "Reversing Falls" a phenomenon due to the over 50 foot tides that is unique to this area.  Once when the river was flowing into the ocean and once when the ocean was flowing into the river.  You can read about it here if you are interested.

more like rapids not really a falls
