 New Orleans city tour

Jill our guide.

Examples of above ground burials in New Orleans.  Once the crept is built there is no limit to the number of burials.  They move the bones below each time a new family member is buried but have to wait at least a year.  Link to information on how it's done if interested.  http://www.examiner.com/article/uncovering-the-truth-about-above-ground-burial-new-orleans-cemeteries

Sunday October 25, left for Mississippi

They take your money just like in Minnesota.

Also drove into Arkansas, Tennessee then into Illinois where we stopped in Springfield for the night.

Visited the cemetery where Lincoln's tomb is then to the street where his lived before his election.  The whole street has been preserved.  You can tour the house for free but it closed before we got there.
