We were all inspired.
Next to Cedar Ridge Distillery and Winery
for a little tasting and
great pizza.

Our Next Stop was Iowa City where we
visited this very cute shop with yarn and
fabric, called Home Ec. If you have these
hobbies, this shop is small but a must see!!

Before we visited the show we were taken for a Mennonite Dinner
at a local farm.
I didn't think I could take pictures so I borrowed these but it was served family style. So good!!!

Next stop Hannibal, Missouri. Home of Mark Twain and
the incredible quilt shop called Hickory Stick.

There was also the whole Mark Twain history.
I especially like the way the shops are set up with
all the prints from the line together.
Heading back up north our next stop was Winterset, Iowa. Madison County, inspiration for the story Bridges of Madison County.
